Staff Guidance
Welcome to the City of Toronto’s staff guidelines for open data. This is a page where staff from City divisions can:
- Enhance their knowledge about open data at the City and its uses
 - Access information about how and when to publish open data

The objective of these resources is to enable staff to identify high-value open data, prioritize data for publication, prepare high-quality open datasets, and get help mitigating any concerns before making the data open to the public.
The information is maintained by the Open Data Team within the Technology Services Division.
We invite you to explore the resources on this page, using the navigation bar on the left. If you have feedback on these pages or suggestions for improvement, please fill out our feedback form.
