Members of the public can suggest data for publication on Toronto’s Open Data Portal! You can also request updates or improvements to existing open datasets.   

Visit our requests portal and tell us a bit about the data you’re looking for. We’ll investigate whether it can be released as open data and get back to you.

Publication queue

Once a dataset has been identified as a candidate for open data, it gets put into our publication queue.  

This section lists in-progress datasets and shows where they are in the publication process.  

Please note: The publication process can vary depending on the nature and complexity of the data being released. Not everything that enters the publication queue gets released as open data, but we do our best!
